The Drafting Process
- Pack 1: Open your first pack, remove any tokens, and verify the contents. Pick one card, then pass the remaining cards to your left. Continue until all cards in the packs are drafted.
- Pack 2: Open the second pack, pick a card, and pass the remainder to your right.
- Pack 3: Open the third pack, pick a card, and pass to your left again.
Deck Construction
- Deck Limits: Build a minimum 20-card main deck.
- Domain Identity: Limit your deck to a maximum of 3 domains (or colors). This usually includes your Champion’s domain plus one or two others.
- Card Count: You can generally play as many copies of a card as you draw, making synergy and domain focus highly valuable.
Strategic Tips & Recommendations
- Stick to 2 Colors: Unless a 3-color deck contains absolute "must-have" spells, it is highly recommended to stick to 2 domains to ensure consistent rune distribution and a smoother mana curve.
- Prioritize Early-Game Units: While high-cost cards or legendary champions are tempting, focus on drafting solid, early-game units to prevent falling behind on the board early on.
- Focus Your Game Plan: If you draft a specific legendary champion early, align your subsequent picks to fit that unit's strategy and resist the urge to stray into too many conflicting mechanics.
