StarCraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game, is a tabletop adaptation of the beloved Real Time Strategy PC game form the 90s! This is a squad based ground combat game that is heavily focused on objective play. In the Koprulu Sector you and your friends take command of iconic units and heroes from the StarCraft universe. StarCraft boasts beautiful, unpainted, plastic miniatures representing the human Terran, the alien Protoss, and monstrous Zerg units.

Players create an army roster to an agreed mineral point value, chosen from their collection of miniatures. You also build a “base” of tactic cards using a similarly capped amount of Vespene Gas. Games are played on a 4.5ft by 3ft play surface that is intended to be covered by beautiful terrain representing exotic battlefields like Mar Sara, Auir, Shakuras, or even orbital space platforms. If you are interested in leading Jim Raynor and his infamous raiders against the likes of Kerrigan: The Queen of Blades and her Zerg swarm; or if you ever wanted to help Artanis lead a strike force of Zealots and Stalkers to victory against the enemies of the Golden Fleet, read on for our beginner's buyer’s guide.

StarCraft offers single player starter sets for each of the game’s three factions. Each set gives you enough to start playing at the game’s lower mineral value games and all the tokens and cards you need to start playing. We recommend picking up a brick of six sided dice if you do not already have one.
If you are new to miniatures war gaming altogether, then you will also want to purchase the necessary equipment to assemble and paint your forces. We recommend a can of spray primer, a bottle of super glue, some brushes, and a set of paints that match the theme for your chosen faction. Different types of flocks and base effects can also be used to give your miniatures a beautiful scenic finish. If you are new to miniatures painting we recommend trying Army Painter Speedpaints as an easy and quick way to get tabletop ready results.
